## About the Role

* Industry certifications and/or degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science, management of information technology, or related field
 * Previous, professional IT experience, particularly in a managed services environment
 * Basic PC hardware and software skills
 * Knowledge of standard network technologies
 * Experience with any virtualization platform
 * Experience with a Microsoft Domain of any size
 * Experience with a Microsoft Office 365 tenant of any size

A candidate would be particularly interesting if they had:

 * Experience in a solution-developing capacity
 * Experience with automation such as imaging, poweshell, and rmm, * professional IT: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

 * CompTIA Certification (Preferred)
 * Microsoft certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

 * Walled Lake, MI 48390 (Required)

## Description

* Providing basic remote and "over-the-shoulder support" for end-users
 * Configuring, installing, and maintaining a full-stack of typical office technology including cloud, network, server, workstation, phone, remote, line of business, security and disaster recovery technologies

Troubleshooting and research is a large part of this position. You must be comfortable working alone in a self-directed capacity, utilizing online resources and vendor support to bring issues to resolution.
