## About the Role

MHI Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, account reconciliations, e-commerce settlement processing, accounts receivable, and month-end closing activities from e-commerce and retail accounts. The position works closely with the Sales, E-Commerce, and Operations teams., * Minimum of 2+ years in accounting, finance, or professional bookkeeping experience -

 * Experience with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or payment processors
 * Good working experience of accounting principles and account reconciliation
 * Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel
 * Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies
 * Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
 * Experience with ecommerce retailers such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, and Walmart.
 * Sage 50 or similar accounting systems,retailer deductions, or marketplace settlements is preferred and highly advantageous.

## Description

* Reconcile e-commerce sales, deposits, fees, refunds, returns, and adjustments
 * Apply customer payments and research shortages, deductions, and chargebacks
 * Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and journal entries
 * Perform bank, credit-card, and general-ledger reconciliations
 * Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
 * Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
 * Work with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies
