## About the Role

* Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Architecture.
 * GitHub Actions Expertise: Exceptional hands-on experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
 * Platform Administration: Proven experience in GitHub platform administration (managing permissions, security policies, runners, and enterprise features).
 * Application Stack: Strong, practical experience building pipelines specifically for .NET applications.
 * Cloud Ecosystems: Solid experience working with cloud providers, with a strong preference for Azure (or alternatively AWS).
 * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
 * Containers & Orchestration: Practical, hands-on experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
 * Certifications: Expected to have GitHub Foundations and GitHub DevOps Pipelines certifications., * Experience with advanced monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana, etc.).
 * Knowledge of banking compliance, security standards, and secrets management.
 * Official certifications in Azure (e.g., DevOps Engineer Expert) or AWS.

## Description

* CI/CD Automation & Consolidation: Design, build, optimize, and maintain highly reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions across various banking departments and application types.
 * Platform Administration: Act as the primary owner and administrator of the GitHub platform, ensuring governance, security, and operational best practices organization-wide.
 * .NET Ecosystem Focus: Build and standardize specialized pipelines tailored for .NET applications, streamlining the deployment process.
 * Infrastructure as Code: Provision, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using modern IaC practices to automate banking workloads.
 * Technical Ownership & Leadership: Take the reins of the current CI/CD infrastructure, bringing order to disparate pipeline types and acting as a mentor/guide for junior team members.
