Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. ## Description The Point of Care Testing (POCT) Coordinator plays a critical role in the daily clinical operations of our laboratories. This position oversees the implementation and oversight of ancillary testing services, ensures effective training and competency, and serves as a key educational and clinical resource across the organization. The POCT Coordinator is also responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The POCT Coordinator also leads the evaluation, validation, and implementation of new point of care testing platforms and methodologies, supporting the strategic expansion of the POC program across NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and its offsite locations. In this role, you'll collaborate with nationally accredited laboratory professionals and clinical teams, contributing directly to accurate, timely, and lifesaving diagnostic results.
