Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities * Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning. * Experience with online teaching and the use of a learning management system. * Familiarity with additional educational technologies such as Teams or online proctoring tools. * Prior experience in a higher education setting or providing faculty or student support. * Experience delivering training programs. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: (The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.) Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions. Requires extended periods of time viewing computer monitor or standing; may require adjustment of schedule to include some evening and/or weekends; may encounter occasional exposure to inclement weather during travel. Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. ## Description This position provides frontline support to faculty, students, and other visitors, both in-person and virtually, ensuring the effective use of educational technologies, including the college's learning management system and related tools. The role involves managing walk-in reception, answering phones, and handling service requests through the department's online email queue., * Provide frontline departmental coverage and both physical and virtual instructional support to faculty, students, and other visitors. * Provide support to users with the college's learning management system, related technologies, publisher integrations, and online proctoring, while tracking relevant data as needed. * Manage walk-in reception, answer phones, and complete service requests through the department's online queue. * Support and direct departmental guests and inquiries as appropriate, providing additional support after hours, on weekends, and during peak times as needed. * Facilitate instructor or student training and other programming as directed. Assist with content development as assigned. * Make presentations or provide training at OTC locations, other venues, and virtually as requested.
