Preferred Skills * 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation. * Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and industrial networking. * Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation. * Experience with APIs (e.g., web service calls, MQTT). * Experience with Rockwell Software (e.g., RSLogix 500, Studio 5000). * Experience with Siemens Software (e.g., TIA Portal). * Exposure to AI technologies in manufacturing, such as platforms like Databricks or similar, used to analyze process data, build predictive models, detect anomalies, or optimize performance. ## Description Shaw Industries is seeking an Industrial Automation and Machine Learning Engineer to develop and scale software and data solutions that connect our production floor to actionable insights across our Commercial manufacturing division. This role focuses on industrial automation, manufacturing data, and OT system integration, supporting multiple plants and enabling operational excellence at scale. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing automation and industrial systems-including PLCs, SCADA, and industrial networking-along with experience building manufacturing applications using platforms such as Ignition and Machine Learning. This is not an IT or consumer software role; it is a hands-on manufacturing systems position centered on machinery, process data, and production environments.
