Other: * Current authorization to work in the United States. Qualifications - Preferred: 1. Teaching experience in an urban, K-12 educational setting. 2. Experience as a school administrator. 3. Experience in Grant writing and fundraising. 4. BPS is particularly interested in candidates who are fluent in one of BPS' official languages: Spanish, Creole (Cape Verdean), Creole (Haitian), Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, & Somali. ## Description The Madison Park technology director is responsible for securing, maintaining, and distributing the technology necessary for classroom instruction and building operations. The technology director also serves as an in-house help desk for staff having difficulties with hardware or software. The technology director will also ensure that technology integration is a priority and effectively implemented in classrooms. The director will work with members of the leadership and support staff to ensure that the necessary testing occurs across all grade levels in accordance with BPS and state testing schedules and work to create pathways for students to be responsible users of technology in the school space. This person will work to implement and support new technology processes and procedures for both adults and students that ensure that technology use is seamless and a priority. This includes the usage and integration of cell phones, Ipads, and other digital devices that enhance the schools overall ability to support students.
