* Previous experience in IT support, help desk, technical support, customer service, or a related role is beneficial but not essential.
 * Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications is an advantage.
 * Strong communication and customer service skills.
 * Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.

## Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. What You'll Do

 * Provide first-line and second-line technical support to employees and end users.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and peripheral issues.
 * Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
 * Respond to support requests through phone, email, ticketing systems, and in person.
 * Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while ensuring timely resolution.
 * Set up user accounts, passwords, and system access permissions.
 * Assist with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email, and business applications.
 * Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and technical solutions.
 * Support routine system maintenance, software updates, and equipment deployment.
 * Collaborate with internal teams to improve IT services and user experience.
 * Follow IT security policies and contribute to maintaining a secure technology environment.
