## About the Role

* Previous experience in IT support, technical support, help desk, service desk, customer service, or a related role is beneficial but not essential.
 * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, networking, and common business applications is advantageous.
 * Strong communication and customer service skills.
 * Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
 * Comfortable learning new technologies and systems.

 * Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
 * Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are welcomed but not required.

## Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting end users, and delivering high-quality IT services. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide technical assistance for hardware, software, business applications, and IT systems while ensuring excellent customer service. What You'll Do

 * Provide first-line and second-line IT support to end users via phone, email, remote support, and ticketing systems.
 * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, network, and system issues.
 * Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications.
 * Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other business systems.
 * Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
 * Record, update, and maintain accurate service tickets and technical documentation.
 * Escalate complex technical issues to senior technical teams when required.
 * Assist with IT equipment setup, deployment, and maintenance.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to improve service delivery and technical processes.
 * Follow IT security, data protection, and company procedures.
 * Deliver professional and customer-focused technical support.
