## About the Role

* Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
 * Experience, or a genuine interest, in foundations and ground engineering.
 * Knowledge of piling, retaining structures, grouting, soil mixing, anchors or soil nails would be advantageous.
 * Experience using software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite or AutoCAD is desirable, although training will be provided.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

## Description

* Designing foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions.
 * Designing ground anchors and soil nail systems.
 * Producing efficient designs for both tender and live projects.
 * Providing technical support to construction teams throughout project delivery.
 * Preparing engineering calculations, reports and design documentation.
 * Working closely with project, estimating and site teams to develop cost-effective engineering solutions.
 * Contributing towards innovation and continuous improvement within the design department.
