This role would suit someone who combines strong website design skills with a good technical understanding of how websites, hosting platforms and domain accounts operate. You must be confident building and managing both WordPress and Shopify websites and understand how website structure, content, performance and technical setup affect SEO. You do not need to be an expert in everything from day one, but you must be eager to learn and develop your skills., * Proven experience designing and building WordPress websites. * Proven experience designing and managing Shopify websites. * A strong understanding of responsive web design and user experience. * Good working knowledge of hosting platforms, domains and DNS management. * Experience managing website migrations and resolving common technical issues. * A good understanding of on-page, off-page and technical SEO. * Knowledge of website performance, security and accessibility. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. * Good organisation, time management and communication skills. * A genuine desire to learn and develop as the role and industry evolve.
