## About the Role

* Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
 * Strong Java or Python skills
 * Working knowledge of Big Data systems, automation, and security
 * Production cloud experience
 * Advanced SQL skills
 * Working knowledge of AWS
 * Hands-on PySpark experience
 * High School Diploma or GED required

Data Engineer Preferred Qualifications:

 * Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field
 * Experience leading data transformation initiatives from on-premise to cloud, ideally in a healthcare setting
 * Experience working in an Agile environment as a Data Engineer
 * Hands-on AWS experience with Redshift, Spectrum, and S3
 * Knowledge of the healthcare industry or provider-sponsored health insurance systems
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills

## Description

* Build and maintain data acquisition, integration, and migration workflows
 * Design and implement data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction processes
 * Support production data pipelines with a focus on stability and fast issue resolution
 * Develop, test, and maintain data architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
 * Identify and implement improvements to data reliability, efficiency, and quality
 * Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
