## About the Role

* Bachelor's or master's degree in GIS, geography, transportation engineering, civil engineering, urban planning, data science, or a related field.
 * At least five years of relevant GIS, crash-data, roadway-safety, or transportation-analysis experience.
 * Experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, Python, SQL, or comparable analytical tools.
 * Experience with ODOT crash data, GCAT, TIMS, AASHTOWare Safety Analyst, or similar systems strongly .
 * Experience developing a High Injury Network, safety study, Vision Zero plan, SS4A Action Plan, or corridor-safety analysis .
 * GISP, PE, PTOE, AICP, or similar professional certification is desirable but not mandatory.

## Description

* Process, validate, geocode, and analyze multi-year crash datasets.
 * Perform fatal- and serious-injury crash analysis.
 * Develop High Injury Networks and identify priority corridors and intersections.
 * Conduct systemic and severity-based safety screening.
 * Prepare GIS maps, interactive mapping products, technical memoranda, and GIS-ready data.
 * Document data sources, assumptions, limitations, methodologies, and QA/QC procedures.
 * Coordinate with transportation agencies regarding crash, roadway, demographic, and related safety data.
 * Support development of performance measures and project-prioritization methodologies.
