Blog posts, white papers, specs, conference talks, or other long-form technical writing. The work should be detailed enough that a technical reader walks away understanding both how a system works and why it was built that way. * Comfort reading architecture diagrams, understanding code (you do not need to write production code), and explaining enterprise SaaS integration patterns: APIs, webhooks, iPaaS, ETL/ELT, SSO/IdP, SCIM, identity, data residency. * The interviewing skill to sit with a customer architect or a Rippling engineer and pull out the specifics that make a story technically credible. * A strong opinion about what good technical writing looks like, and the discipline to edit yours down until it earns the reader's time. * Self-direction. You will own the calendar, the customer relationships, and the editorial bar. Bonus points * Hands-on engineering background (you have shipped code, not just written about it). * Worked on a platform product before (PaaS, iPaaS, developer platform, automation platform). * Familiar with HR tech, IT tech, finance tech, or the broader systems-of-record landscape that Rippling now spans. * Published work with a measurable audience in the technical-buyer space. ## Description Developer Educator is a writing-first role. Your mission is to uplevel Rippling's profile with technical buyers: CTOs, VPs of IT, VPs of Engineering, and the technical stakeholders inside our customers and prospects who decide how systems get built. ## Related Videos - [Beyond Webhooks: The Future of Scalable API Event Delivery](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100312-beyond-webhooks-the-future-of-scalable-api-event-delivery) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) - [Our GitOps approach for deploying an Identity Provider and an API Gateway in a SaaS company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/776-our-gitops-approach-for-deploying-an-identity-provider-and-an-api-gateway-in-a-saas-company) - [I’m a Developer Working in Marketing… Here’s Why - Tim Cadenbach](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1372-i-m-a-developer-working-in-marketing-here-s-why-tim-cadenbach) - [The Vonage Trivia Voyage: Quiz Your Way to the Top!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/761-the-vonage-trivia-voyage-quiz-your-way-to-the-top) - [Diving into Developer Experience](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1120-diving-into-developer-experience) ## Related Articles - [A call for Guest Writers for the WeAreDevelopers Magazine](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/648-a-call-for-guest-writers-for-the-wearedevelopers-magazine) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Why developer experience matters](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/514-why-developer-experience-matters) - [IT Webinars for Programmers to Stay Updated](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/351-it-webinars-for-programmers-to-stay-updated) - [How to Answer the Interview Question: “Why Do You Want to Be a Software Engineer?”](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/392-how-to-answer-the-interview-question-why-do-you-want-to-be-a-software-engineer) - [Résumé-Driven Development: How IT trends affect the job market for software developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/59-resume-driven-development-how-it-trends-affect-the-job-market-for-software-developers)
