* 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
 * 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
 * 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
 * Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, * 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

## Description

Do you enjoy watching the latest movies, live sporting events, or scrolling through endless short-form video feeds on your computer, tablet or smartphone? Do you want to build the systems that deliver all that content seamlessly and buffer-free to millions of viewers worldwide?, In this role you will be doing hands-on coding, helping to build distributed scalable systems impacting hundreds of AWS customers. You will:

 * Design, build, and operate distributed systems that deliver video on a global scale.
 * Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for video delivery infrastructure.
 * Own the full software development lifecycle - from requirements through deployment and operations.
 * Explore and apply AI/ML-driven approaches to optimize video delivery and quality of experience.
 * Leverage AI assisted development for fast prototyping, design and coding.

You should have a solid understanding of distributed, scalable systems, experience in building complex software that has been successfully delivered to customers, and a thorough understanding of internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, and UDP.
