## About the Role

Demonstrable experience in designing and executing functional and non-functional tests.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Familiarity with microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience in REST Assured / Supertest / Postman + Newman
Knowledge in test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Pytest, Postman, Appium)
Applying systems thinking by leveraging strong analytical skills to understand complex systems, assess risks, and contribute to effective testing strategies.
Ensuring quality at every stage by meticulously identifying, documenting, and following up on issues.
Communicating clearly and effectively to collaborate across cross-functional teams and align on goals and outcomes.
Taking initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and drive enhancements in quality processes.

## Description

As part of the Membership team, this role is centered products that power The Knot Worldwide's membership experiences. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to iterate on core features that ensure couples enjoy a seamless, high-quality experience while planning their most meaningful life milestones. Your work will directly contribute to building reliable, scalable automated tests that support our global membership code and drive lasting impact across our product ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing and executing testing strategies by developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios to ensure the functionality, performance, security, and scalability of our platform.
Managing defects by identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking issues while working collaboratively with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Driving continuous improvement by collaborating on the definition and implementation of quality processes and tools, while promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and technical excellence.
Fostering collaboration by working closely with development engineers, DevOps, software architects, and product managers
