## About the Role

* Mehrjährige Erfahrung (mindestens 5 Jahre) in der Embedded Softwareentwicklung sowie in der Programmierung mit C und/oder C++.
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) sowie ein gutes Verständnis für hardwarenahe Softwareentwicklung.
 * Erfahrung mit Softwarearchitekturen, Requirements Engineering, gängigen Entwicklungsprozessen (Agile, V-Modell, Waterfall) und idealerweise dem DO-178B/C-Standard.
 * Know-how in den Bereichen Softwaretests (Unit-, Integrations- und Abnahmetests) sowie idealerweise Erfahrung mit der Linux-Kernel-Entwicklung.
 * Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, eine strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise sowie Freude an der Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Teams.

## Description

* Entwicklung von hardwarenaher Foundation- und Plattformsoftware für moderne Computer - von der Konzeption bis zur Implementierung.
 * Erstellung und Ableitung von Softwareanforderungen auf High-Level- und Low-Level-Ebene sowie Mitgestaltung der Softwarearchitektur und des Designs.
 * Implementierung sicherer, robuster und wartbarer Software in C mit Fokus auf Safety, Security und hohe Qualitätsstandards.
 * Entwicklung und Pflege von Hardware Device Treibern sowie Board Support Packages (BSPs) für leistungsfähige Embedded-Systeme.
 * Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Software-, Hardware- und FPGA-Entwicklungsteams über alle Phasen des Entwicklungszyklus hinweg - von der Systemspezifikation bis zur Integration.
 * Analyse, Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung von Embedded-Software, um zuverlässige und leistungsfähige Plattformen für sicherheitskritische Anwendungen bereitzustellen.
