 * CPR and First Aid Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
 * Colorado Food Handler's License.

## Description

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support to residents in a home setting, assisting them with daily activities and helping them gain greater independence. Responsibilities include teaching life skills, supporting community engagement, documenting progress, and creating a safe, positive living environment., * Provide quality care and support for participants in a residential setting.

 * Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including:
 * Meal preparation and cooking
 * Housekeeping and cleaning
 * Laundry
 * Personal grooming and hygiene support
 * Shopping and budgeting skills
 * Administer medications as authorized (QMAP certification required; training provided if needed).
 * Maintain accurate participant records and complete documentation using electronic systems.
 * Support participants in achieving individual goals and tracking progress.
 * Plan, coordinate, and participate in home-based and community activities.
 * Maintain a positive, professional attitude while building supportive relationships.
 * Effectively manage and respond to challenging situations when they arise.
