## About the Role

+ At least 3+ years of experience in network security engineering
 + Strong knowledge of technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, proxies, VPNs, SD-WAN, DDoS protection, and SASE
 + Solid understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, Zero Trust, and network segmentation
 + Experience with automation and scripting
 + Ability to work independently with strong communication and collaboration skills
 + Advanced English and Spanish (spoken and written)
 + Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to strengthen our Security Architecture & Engineering team.
In this role, you will play a key part in protecting Verisure's global network infrastructure, shaping secure architectures, and ensuring our connectivity meets the highest security standards.
If you enjoy working hands-on with modern network security technologies while influencing strategy at scale, this role is for you.
What You'll Do

 + Define and drive the roadmap and strategy for network security
 + Design secure network architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments
 + Configure, deploy, and maintain network security controls
 + Ensure segmentation of critical assets and secure connectivity
 + Monitor network traffic, identify threats, and support incident response
 + Integrate network security controls into automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
 + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and mitigate risks
 + Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend continuous improvements
