Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience with asynchronous messaging frameworks. * Experience with Agile methodologies and the Atlassian tool suite including Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket. * Familiarity or willingness to learn Ada * Experience in software testing or debugging source code ## Description This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. What YOU will do: * Design, develop, and maintain software for integration into our Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) products. * Perform software development, integration, testing, and validation for safety-critical systems in a Unix/Linux environment. * Write and maintain technical documentation and work instructions that adhere to ATS SED's software engineering standards and processes. * Actively participate in the Agile development process, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing. * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and milestones are met. * Implement and troubleshoot software solutions using modern development methodologies, tools, and technologies. * Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions for complex challenges in the aerospace and defense domain.
