## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
 * 2+ years of IT security experience or related IT operations role with security exposure.
 * Hands-on familiarity with network and endpoint security technologies.
 * Experience using security monitoring, logging, or reporting platforms.
 * Knowledge of fundamental security practices in networks, cloud, and endpoints.
 * Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus., * Entry-level or associate-level security or network certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security).
 * Additional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus but not required.

Skills & Competencies * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 * Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to IT colleagues and business users.
 * Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a security-focused role.
 * Attention to detail and accountability in following processes.
