## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience in Scala development with expertise in building high-performance, scalable, and low-latency trading applications.
 * Extensive experience in Capital Markets and Trading Systems, with a strong understanding of Front Office trading workflows.
 * Strong proficiency in Scala frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play Framework, Cats, ZIO, or similar.
 * Experience developing and supporting electronic trading platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), and Execution Management Systems (EMS).
 * Strong understanding of functional programming principles, concurrency, and distributed systems architecture.
 * Experience working with real-time market data feeds, trade execution systems, and event-driven architectures.
 * Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, or equivalent.
 * Strong expertise in SQL and working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
 * Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
 * Familiarity with FIX Protocol and electronic trade execution workflows.
 * Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes including order capture, execution, allocation, settlement, and reporting.
 * Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and utilizing source control tools such as Git.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Docker, and containerized deployments.
 * Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
