**Published:** July 23, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.careerjet.com/jobad/us1af0a015151b230786f4f55741f23161 ## About the Role * Bachelors degree in Data Management Computer Science Information Systems Sustainability or related field * 7 years of experience in data modeling conceptual logical physical in enterprise environments * Proven experience with master data management MDM metadata management and data governance frameworks * Subject matter expertise in ESG reporting standards eg SASB GRI TCFD ISSB CSRD * Strong proficiency with data modeling tools such as ERwin ERStudio PowerDesigner or SQL based modeling tools * Handson SQL proficiency and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on implementation * Preferred * Experience with cloud native data platforms Azure Data Lake Databricks Snowflake Synapse Redshift * Experience integrating third party ESG datasets MSCI Sustainalytics ISS CDP etc * Prior experience in financial services heavily regulated industries" ## Description This role will serve as the strategic lead for designing developing and maintaining enterprise grade data models that support ESG reporting analytics regulatory compliance and operational decision making This role requires deep subject matter expertise across ESG frameworks metrics and data taxonomies combined with advanced data modeling skills The Senior Data Modeler will partner closely with data engineering ESG program leaders risk compliance and business stakeholders to ensure the organizations ESG data assets are accurate scalable and aligned with both internal standards and external disclosure requirements, Data Strategy Modeling Design and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models to support ESG reporting dashboards and analytical products Develop and implement data standards metadata structures lineage documentation and governance practices specific to ESG data domains Translate ESG program requirements into scalable data architectures that support reporting frameworks such as SASB GRI TCFD ISSB CSRD and industry specific regulatory mandates Build models that enable ingestion integration and normalization of diverse ESG data sources including structured operational datasets third party ratings qualitative assessments and unstructured content ESG Subject Matter Expertise Partner with ESG leaders to understand evolving disclosure requirements and maintain alignment between data assets and regulatory obligations Define and maintain ESG data taxonomies business rules KPIs and calculation logic eg GHG emissions DEI metrics governance indicators Advise cross functional teams on best practices for capturing storing and validating ESG data Data Quality Governance Establish ESG data quality controls validation rules and stewardship processes Ensure transparency of ESG data lineage traceability and auditability for both internal and external reporting Collaborate with Data Governance teams to align ESG data policies with enterprise standards Cross Functional Collaboration Work with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to implement models in cloud environments such as IDMC Partner with Reporting Analytics and Sustainability teams to support dashboards KPIs regulatory filings and investor grade reporting Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to support assurance controls and audit reviews ## Related Videos -
