Working knowledge of: * Windows operating systems * Microsoft 365 * Active Directory * Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred: * CompTIA A+ * CompTIA Network+ * Microsoft certifications * Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience) ## Description In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for technical support across the organization while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals who are committed to helping you grow into more advanced systems and infrastructure responsibilities. Salary $72,000-$82,000/year This role will be in-office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, at our San Diego, CA office in 92127 As an IT Support Specialist, you will: * Provide Level 1 and designated Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, user accounts, and connectivity issues * Troubleshoot and resolve Help Desk tickets from start to finish while providing excellent customer service * Configure, image, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals * Ensure new employees have all technology ready before their first day * Create, modify, and manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts * Support Microsoft Teams Phone (VoIP) and other communication technologies * Perform routine security tasks including MFA management, endpoint protection, patching, and access reviews * Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to the IT knowledge base * Assist senior engineers with infrastructure projects involving VMware, networking, firewalls, storage, and enterprise systems * Monitor system health and help identify and resolve performance issues, At XDI, our people are our greatest asset.
