Technical Skills * Strong understanding of: * 12V battery technologies * Vehicle electrical systems * Battery diagnostics * Charging systems * CAN network architectures * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions. * Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations. * Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Leadership Skills * Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. * Experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. * Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities. * Strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail. * Proven ability to drive decisions using data and facts. ## Description Technical Leadership * Serve as the Aftersales Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 12V battery diagnostics, testing procedures, and battery-related field concerns. * Lead technical investigations involving battery failures, no-start concerns, charging system performance, and diagnostic process effectiveness. * Analyze battery tester performance, software validation results, and diagnostic accuracy studies. * Partner with Engineering, Quality, Warranty, Service Engineering, Technical Assistance, Supply Chain, and Supplier organizations to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. * Support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of battery testing procedures, service processes, and dealer diagnostic tools. * Lead and coordinate a cross-functional 12V Aftersales Task Force to resolve emerging field issues. * Facilitate technical reviews, working sessions, and executive-level presentations. Data Analytics & Reporting * Analyze dealer battery tester data, warranty claims, telematics information, repair orders, and vehicle field performance data. * Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting to monitor: * Battery replacement trends * Warranty spend and cost drivers * Dealer diagnostic compliance * Battery tester effectiveness * Vehicle platform performance * Service campaign effectiveness * Identify emerging trends and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership. * Utilize statistical analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning techniques, and AI-enabled tools to improve field issue detection and decision making. * Leverage platforms such as Palantir Foundry and other business intelligence tools to support advanced analysis and reporting. * Create and present executive-level reports, insights, and recommendations.
