You'll be hands-on in the apps, instrumenting them and building the server-side services behind them, as well as on the marketing operations tooling our teams run on. This is a rare full-spectrum role for someone who genuinely likes owning a feature from the client SDK all the way to the server. This is a founding-engineer opportunity. Because the team is early and serves the entire Match Group portfolio, you'll set its technical direction and standards, make the early architecture decisions the rest of the team will build on, and help shape and grow the team as it scales. You'll also help power our move toward more AI-native marketing operations, building the tooling and agent-ready infrastructure that lets our marketers work in fundamentally new ways. As one of the senior technical voices on the team, the work you do here has outsized reach across every brand in the portfolio. Most of all, we're looking for someone who's genuinely passionate about marketing technology: you're excited by attribution, measurement, and the systems that make marketing work, and you want to go deep on the domain rather than treat it as just another stack., You'll operate as a senior technical leader here, owning the bigger picture while staying hands-on across the team's work. You'll move between these areas as priorities shift: Owning the bigger picture * Building the technical roadmap for our central MarTech services * Defining the architecture other engineers build against * Setting the engineering standards for the team * Identify opportunities for new systems or capabilities within existing systems. MarTech implementation - keeping our foundational MarTech stack on the clients healthy and well-maintained: * Marketing and attribution event instrumentation in our iOS and Android apps * Privacy and consent handling * Event delivery that feeds our attribution partners, ad platforms, and data warehouse Marketing operations tooling - architecting the platforms and services marketers and analysts run on: * Programmatic ad-platform management * Marketing tooling such as creative management systems and audience syncing * AI/agent-driven workflows and MCP's ## Related Videos - [Go with the Flow: Stop the Leaks Before Your Memory's a Waterfall!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100073-go-with-the-flow-stop-the-leaks-before-your-memory-s-a-waterfall) - [Kotlin Multiplatform - True power of native code reuse](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/4-kotlin-multiplatform-true-power-of-native-code-reuse) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Developer Marketing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1049-developer-marketing) - [Scoring 2000 Products per Request: Performance Pitfalls in Golang](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2073-scoring-2000-products-per-request-performance-pitfalls-in-golang) - [ Your Code Is the Sales Team Now](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100327-your-code-is-the-sales-team-now) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix)
