This includes transforming data into insights to streamline and improve the Company's vision, value, and client satisfaction. The Senior Data Analyst develops standardized reports using Power BI and SQL while leveraging Python or similar tools to automate processes and manage large datasets. The Senior Data Analyst must understand business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The Senior Data Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for enterprise reporting and analytics, partnering with business and technical teams to define reporting standards, semantic models, and business metrics. This role develops a deep understanding of the Company's industry, legacy data structures, and the new system's data model., Business Intelligence and Reporting · Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports. · Develop Gold Layer reports and datasets based on business requirements. · Design executive, operational, and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder. · Build semantic models, DAX measures, KPIs, aggregations, and calculated fields. · Implement Row-Level Security (RLS). · Administer Power BI Service workspaces and report publishing. · Define enterprise reporting standards and KPI definitions. Business Analysis and Data Validation · Develop a deep understanding of the Company's industry and business processes. · Understand legacy data structures and the new system's data model. · Validate migrated data between legacy and new systems. · Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
