The Warehouse Lead will manage inventory, coordinate material handling, supervise a small team, and ensure efficient and safe operations to support our mission of serving rural communities. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and familiarity with pipe and supply inventory. Functional Responsibilities: * Inventory Management: Oversee receiving, storing, and distributing inventory in the warehouse and pipe yard. Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure accurate inventory records using [insert system, e.g., manual logs or inventory software]. * Material Handling: Coordinate the safe loading, unloading, and movement of pipes and supplies using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment. Ensure proper storage to prevent damage, especially in the outdoor pipe yard exposed to weather conditions. * Order Fulfillment: Manage picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to rural locations. * Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies for both indoor and outdoor operations. * Equipment Maintenance: Oversee basic maintenance and inspections of warehouse and yard equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure operational readiness. * Customer Service Support: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve order issues and ensure customer satisfaction in rural communities. Reporting: Provide regular updates on inventory levels, operational challenges, and team performance to management.
