## About the Role

* 2+ years of desktop support or PC technician experience.
 * Hands-on experience with PC imaging and reimaging.
 * Experience installing and supporting desktop software.
 * Experience providing deskside technical support.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, ServiceNow, Eracent, or similar endpoint management or ticketing platforms.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
 * Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 * Ability to lift and move computer equipment and walk between work locations throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience supporting workstation deployments and office relocations.
 * Experience working in an enterprise IT support environment.

## Description

firstPRO is hiring a Desktop Services PC Technician for a growing organization in the Greater Reading, PA area. We are seeking a dependable and motivated IT professional to provide hands-on desktop support, workstation deployments, and end-user technical assistance. This is initially a temporary role with potential to become a permanent employee!, * Configure, image, reimage, and deploy desktop and laptop computers.

 * Install and configure monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
 * Perform software installations, upgrades, and data transfers.
 * Provide deskside support by troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
 * Set up workstations for new hires and replacement equipment.
 * Support office moves by disconnecting, relocating, and reconnecting IT equipment.
 * Manage and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system.
 * Coordinate directly with end users to schedule equipment deployments and resolve technical issues.
 * Partner with internal IT teams to ensure timely resolution of support requests.
 * Adapt to changing priorities and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.
