## About the Role

* Experience with Windows administration and software installation/support.
 * Hands-on experience with PowerShell, VBScript (VBS), or VBA scripting.
 * Basic knowledge of SQL, networking, and Active Directory.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience supporting scientific, laboratory, manufacturing, or industrial applications is preferred.

Nice to Have:

 * Exposure to OpenLab, Chromeleon, ChemStation, LIMS, or similar lab software.
 * Experience working with instrument-connected systems and regulated environments.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong Windows support and scripting background who enjoys solving software installation, automation, and system support challenges.

## Description

We are looking for a Lab IT Support Engineer to support laboratory software, instrument-connected computers, and Windows-based lab environments., * Install, configure, and troubleshoot laboratory software applications.

 * Support Windows OS upgrades, compatibility testing, and system maintenance.
 * Manage instrument-connected PCs and resolve software, licensing, and connectivity issues.
 * Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, VBScript, and VBA.
 * Support SQL databases, data transfers, and integrations with laboratory systems.
 * Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on software deployments and technical issues.
 * Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, network connectivity, and user-reported incidents.
 * Maintain documentation, inventory, and security compliance for laboratory systems.
