Twelve (12) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. 2. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree. 3. Seven (7) years' experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development, 28. Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team 29.Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) 30. Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design 31. Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design 32. Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus) 33. Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces 34. Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required ## Description The UI Front End Software Engineer (SWE3) is directly meeting mission-critical needs in partnership with mission customers. This individual will lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards while remaining hands-on in development across the full software product lifecycle in an agile environment. Responsibilities span analyzing user requirements to derive design and performance standards, developing and debugging software, integrating systems, and implementing algorithms to meet performance goals. The ideal candidate has front end experience, translates UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces, and mentors junior developers while collaborating closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines Establish and enforce front-end coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development, 4. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance 17. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design 18. Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team products 19. Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards 20. Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project 21.
