## About the Role

 * Experience supporting mainframe or legacy enterprise systems is required.
 * Strong experience with batch processing, data integrations, and production support is mandatory.
 * Prior experience with large-scale data migration projects is highly preferred., * 10+ years of experience in application development, preferably supporting mainframe or legacy enterprise systems.
 * Strong experience with mainframe application support, maintenance, and enhancements.
 * Hands-on experience with batch processing, job scheduling, interface workflows, and production support.
 * Experience managing data integrations with enterprise applications such as Kronos, PeopleSoft, or similar HR/Payroll systems.
 * Strong knowledge of operational reporting, regulatory reporting, and data extraction processes.
 * Experience supporting mission-critical production environments with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with large-scale data migration, data validation, and modernization initiatives.
 * Ability to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders during modernization projects.
 * Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
 * Experience in transportation, public sector, or enterprise operational systems is a plus.

## Description

The Mainframe Systems Programmer will support, maintain, and enhance mission-critical applications that power the MNR Crew Management System (CMS). This role is responsible for ensuring operational stability, supporting feature enhancements, managing integrations with enterprise systems, and leading historical data migration efforts to the new Crew Management platform.
