Design Experience We believe great software should be intuitive, polished, and enjoyable to use. You don't need to be a professional designer, but you should understand modern UI/UX principles and know how to use AI tools to create clean, thoughtful user experiences. Bonus Skills Experience with any of the following is a plus: * Docker Compose * Kubernetes * Linux administration * MySQL or PostgreSQL * CI/CD * AWS * Figma * AI workflow automation * MCP Servers * LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) * RAG, vector databases, or AI agents, * building apps using JavaScript/TypeScript + React/Next.js: 1 year (Required) * Building/designing backend architecture: 1 year (Required) * using Cursor or Claude: 1 year (Required) ## Description We're looking for an AI-Assisted Full-Stack Software Engineer who sees AI as a competitive advantage. At Utility Connect, AI is part of our daily development process. We use tools like Claude, Cursor, and other AI-powered platforms to accelerate development, automate repetitive work, and move ideas into production faster. We're looking for someone who understands software engineering well enough to guide AI-generated code, improve it, troubleshoot it, and build secure, scalable applications. You'll work closely with our engineering team and leadership to design, build, and launch products across multiple companies. Your work will move into production quickly and have a direct impact on the business. This is a full-time, on-site position at our corporate headquarters in The Colony, Texas.
