We care far more about your ability to learn than your familiarity with a specific piece of software. Experience with video editing is a plus. While this isn't the primary focus of the role, you'll have opportunities to edit short-form marketing videos, podcasts, tutorials, and social media content. You must understand marketing first and how that related to websites. You'll design new websites when needed, but you'll also spend time improving existing websites, implementing SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), configuring analytics and conversion tracking, integrating marketing platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and researching new solutions for our clients. Technology changes constantly. We don't expect you to know every platform or every tool. We do expect you to enjoy learning, researching, testing, and solving technical challenges. Responsibilities Website Design, Development & Continuous Improvement You will be responsible for: * Designing and developing WordPress websites, primarily using the Avada theme * Improving existing websites through ongoing enhancements, redesigns, and optimization * Creating landing pages for marketing campaigns * Improving website usability, accessibility, navigation, and conversion paths * Recommending website improvements based on client goals and performance data * Maintaining websites through updates, security, backups, and ongoing support * Troubleshooting website issues, plugin conflicts, hosting concerns, and technical problems * Testing websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices * Supporting website launches, migrations, and platform updates when needed * SEO, AEO & Website Performance Every website we manage should support search visibility, AI search, and measurable marketing performance. You will be responsible for: * Implementing technical SEO best practices * Optimizing websites for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) * Structuring websites and content for AI-driven search experiences * Implementing schema markup and structured data * Improving Core Web Vitals, page speed, accessibility, and mobile usability * Monitoring Google Search Console and identifying opportunities for improvement * Managing Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, key events, and conversion tracking * Troubleshooting indexing, crawl, redirect, and technical SEO issues * Reviewing analytics and recommending improvements based on data * Team Collaboration You'll collaborate with our strategists and specialists to support: * Website strategy * SEO * Content strategy * Email marketing * Paid advertising * Analytics and reporting * Conversion optimization * AI implementation * Ongoing client growth, * A portfolio of websites you've designed, developed, or improved * Examples of technical challenges you've solved * Examples of improvements you've made to existing websites * A brief explanation of how you stay current with changes in digital marketing, websites, SEO, AI, or marketing technology, * We are resourceful.
