 * Excellent Typing and Data Entry Skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

## Description

* Verifying all samples and data received
 * Identifying/pursuing discrepancies in specimen info
 * Data entry and sample labeling
 * Quality control of each workflow step
 * Use of LIMS system to enter critical patient data
 * Run reports to track key quality metrics
 * Maintain laboratory safety standards
 * Organizes work area for optimal efficiency
 * Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands: This position will require extensive use of a computer (mousing, keyboarding) and may involve sitting for extended periods of time.

Safety: Some risk of exposure to chemicals, biological substances, sharps and/or scientific instruments capable of causing bodily injury if used improperly. We comply with OSHA standards regarding Bloodborne pathogens, Safety Needle Act, Chemical Hygiene Plan in addition to maintaining robust safety & training programs.
