## About the Role

* A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quality Management Systems, or a related field
 * Around 0.5-3 years of relevant professional experience
 * Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques, including classification and predictive analytics
 * Knowledge of statistical sampling methods and experimental design
 * Experience working with programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, or Matlab
 * Working knowledge of SQL
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to analyzing data
 * Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
 * Ability to collaborate in a team environment and contribute to shared outcomes
 * Good organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks

## Description

As a Data Scientist, you will work on developing data-driven solutions to improve Map and Location quality. You will combine statistical methods, machine learning, and analytical thinking to create impactful insights and tools.

In This Role, You Will

 * Build innovative solutions to measure and improve Map Quality using machine learning and statistical methods
 * Act as a subject matter expert in statistical and experimental design for map and location quality testing processes
 * Develop sampling strategies for map quality evaluation and for generating training data for ML models
 * Define and implement statistical quality metrics to track and improve performance
 * Design and develop data and computing tools to process data and analyze results at scale
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
 * Communicate findings and insights through presentations and written materials, including white papers
