## About the Role

* 3 to 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years focused hands-on with Google Cloud Platform.
 * Proven experience executing cloud migrations (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring).
 * Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).

Bonus points if you have:

 * Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification.
 * Prior experience working on federal or DoD cloud migration projects.

Security clearance:

 * Active Top Secret (TS) or Interim TS security clearance is required.

## Description

* Design, deploy, and manage Google Cloud Platform foundational components, including BigQuery, Secret Manager, Vertex AI, VPCs, Cloud Storage, and/or Cloud IAM.
 * Execute large scale data migrations to Google Cloud Platform using industry best practices and migration tools (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine).
 * Implement secure cloud architectures that comply with federal cloud computing security requirements and Zero Trust principles.
 * Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot migration issues, and optimize costs.
