 * Expert-level knowledge of lighting controls, system integration, and energy codes.
 * Proven leadership and mentoring experience.

 * Advanced technical proficiency with controls platforms and documentation tools.

Additional Requirements

 * Must be willing and able to travel to job sites for field support.
 * Valid driver's license required.
 * Proof of current auto insurance must be maintained and provided to the company.

## Description

The Lead Controls Solutions Specialist serves as the highest-level technical authority for lighting controls within the organization. This role leads complex and strategic projects, provides cross-functional leadership, and is responsible for field support and/or commissioning assistance when required., * Serve as the primary technical expert for lighting control systems and applications.

 * Lead design strategy and execution for large, complex, or high-profile projects.
 * Provide guidance and oversight to all Controls Solutions Specialists.
 * Collaborate with sales leadership on project strategy and opportunity development.
 * Review and approve complex system designs, quotations, and documentation.
 * Act as escalation point for advanced technical and project issues.
 * Lead coordination with manufacturers and key partners.
 * Provide on-site field support, commissioning assistance, and troubleshooting as needed.
 * Develop and deliver advanced training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
 * Drive continuous improvement in controls processes, standards, and tools.
