## About the Role

* You have at least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar position.
 * You hold a degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
 * You have strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL in production environments.
 * You are experienced with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and ideally have exposure to modern analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
 * You have practical experience building and operating cloud-native solutions on AWS.
 * You are familiar with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with tools such as Java, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Dask or Hadoop is considered a plus.
 * You are proficient with Git and modern software development best practices.
 * Knowledge of financial markets is an advantage but not a requirement.
 * You are a proactive, self-driven individual who enjoys taking ownership and solving complex technical challenges independently.
 * You have excellent English communication skills.

 * Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality data for internal stakeholders.
 * Monitor data workflows, investigate pipeline and data availability issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure smooth operations.
 * Contribute to data modelling, database design, job scheduling, monitoring, and overall data engineering best practices.
 * Continuously improve existing data infrastructure, optimize performance, and help modernize legacy processes and workflows.
