## About the Role

* Een met uitstekende resultaten afgeronde academische opleiding (BSc/MSc) in computer science, informatica, econometrie of een technische opleiding met een stevige programmeer component;
 * Je hebt minimaal twee jaar aantoonbare werkervaring, bij voorkeur in de wereld van software development, data engineering en/of data science. Je beschikt over solide kennis van Linux/Unix operating systems;
 * Je beschikt over een achtergrond in data integratie, user management, data security, data kwaliteit en data distributie;
 * Je voelt je thuis in talen als Python, Scala, Java en R;
 * Je hebt ervaring in het bouwen en beheren van big data stromen en ETL oplossingen;
 * Je hebt ervaring met open source database management tools zoals MySQL en PostgreSQL.

Kennis van NoSQL is een pré;

 * Je beschikt over kennis van Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, Apache Spark, Digital Ocean, AWS of Azure;
 * Je bent een pioneer die in een start-up omgeving wil werken, je bent enthousiast, professioneel en open, hebt een positieve drive en de wil jezelf te ontwikkelen;
 * Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
