You design, develop, and operate scalable data platforms that enable analytics, AI, and software applications to perform reliably and efficiently. You work in a dynamic, international, and client-facing environment. One day you collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Architects to design a new data pipeline; the next, you help a customer optimize performance, reliability, or data quality in their cloud platform. You understand how data flows through organizations and how ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, and security must work together. Your focus is on creating robust, maintainable, and future-proof data solutions. You work with batch and streaming data, modern cloud platforms, and evolving architectures such as Lakehouse or event-driven designs. Quality is non-negotiable: you ensure solutions are observable, compliant (e.g. GDPR), cost-aware, and ready to scale. As you grow, your role expands beyond implementation. You actively advise customers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help strengthen CI's data engineering practices. You will join a team of experienced, international colleagues who value craftsmanship, collaboration, and clear communication.
