## About the Role

* Mid-level or Senior experience in QA, test automation, or SDET roles
 * Demonstrable experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products
 * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.
 * Hands-on experience with test automation using modern tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress
 * Solid knowledge of the software development cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
 * Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases and code
 * Comfortable working within cross-functional, international teams
 * Good coordination skills and the ability to promote continuous QA awareness within the team
 * Good command of both Dutch and English

Nice to have:

 * Experience in domains such as audit, accountancy, financial reporting, or compliance software
 * Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
 * ISTQB or other QA-related certifications
 * Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures
 * Experience contributing to test strategies or quality improvement initiatives

## Description

* Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web-based SaaS products
 * Executing and supervising functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests
 * Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability.
 * Analyzing requirements and technical designs to identify risk areas and critical test scenarios
 * Investigate, document, and follow up on defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
 * Improving test coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes
 * Guiding and coaching junior SDET team members
 * Promoting and disseminating best practices in the field of quality within the engineering organization
