## About the Role

* 6+ years of hands-on experience in Synon (CA 2E) development
 * Strong expertise in RPG (RPG III / RPG IV / ILE RPG)
 * Experience working with IBM i (AS400) systems
 * Good understanding of SDLC, debugging, and support processes
 * Strong communication skills in German (C1 level - mandatory)
 * Experience working with European clients/environments preferred

## Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Synon (CA 2E) Developer with strong RPG expertise to support enterprise application development and maintenance. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams in a German-speaking environment., * Design, develop, and maintain applications using CA 2E (Synon) and RPG on IBM i / AS400 platforms

 * Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
 * Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support
 * Work on system integration, code reviews, and performance optimization
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, QA, and project stakeholders
 * Participate in requirement discussions, solution design, and documentation
 * Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and project timelines
 * Provide L2/L3 support for critical applications when required
 * Communicate effectively with stakeholders in German (C1 level mandatory)
