## About the Role

* Degree in a numerate, scientific, or computing discipline (e.g. Data Science, Maths, Computer Science, Economics)
 * Proven experience as a Product Owner delivering modern products in an agile environment
 * Strong leadership capability with experience motivating, developing, and guiding teams
 * Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels
 * Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business value through data or product initiatives
 * Confident decision-making with a results-driven mindset
 * Highly organised with excellent planning and delivery focus
 * Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Desirable Skills

 * Experience in data value management including governance, quality, and ownership
 * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
 * Familiarity with Python, PySpark, data lakes, and data warehousing concepts
 * Understanding of DevOps, automated testing, and release management
 * Knowledge of insurance principles or claims processes
 * Experience working in experimental or empirical product environments
 * Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence
 * Agile certifications such as PSPO, CSPO, or SPC
 * Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage and awareness of ethical AI principles

## Description

* Work with business stakeholders to identify, shape, and prioritise machine learning and data product opportunities
 * Lead an agile squad of data specialists, setting direction, vision, and delivery priorities
 * Own and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring stories are refined and ready for delivery
 * Drive value delivery by tracking outcomes and articulating realised business benefits
 * Collaborate with Scrum Masters to embed Agile principles and support a high-performing, self-organising team
 * Champion the use of reporting, analytics, AI, and ML to enhance claims processes and customer outcomes
 * Build strong relationships across IT, data, business teams, and global Allianz stakeholders
 * Promote best practices in data architecture, governance, and product development
 * Contribute to leadership initiatives that improve team engagement, productivity, and continuous improvement
