## Description

* Design, develop and maintain web, desktop and cloud-based software applications.
 * Analyse business and technical requirements to produce effective software solutions.
 * Write clean, efficient, secure and well-documented source code.
 * Develop software using modern programming languages, frameworks and development tools.
 * Perform software testing, debugging and troubleshooting to resolve defects.
 * Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
 * Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.
 * Optimise application performance, scalability and reliability.
 * Maintain software documentation, technical specifications and release notes.
 * Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement.
 * Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
 * Provide technical support and maintenance for existing software applications.
 * Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to software architecture and development processes.
