Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Liaison Engineer - **Company:** COMLUX AMERICA LLC - **Location:** Indianapolis, IN, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Computer-Aided Design, AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, SolidWorks (CAD), Microsoft PowerPoint - **Published:** July 24, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=38ea8785c11fabfa ## About the Role * Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required. * Minimum of 2-5 years of engineering experience supporting aircraft completions, modifications, interiors, or transport category aircraft programs. * Experience working with FAA-certified aircraft modification programs, STCs, or aircraft interior installations preferred. * Experience supporting production environments and resolving manufacturing or installation-related engineering issues preferred. * Familiarity with transport category aircraft certification requirements under 14 CFR Part 25 preferred. * Valid passport with the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required., * Proficiency with Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD experience beneficial). * Knowledge of aircraft interior completions, structural modifications, and engineering documentation standards. * Understanding of FAA regulations, certification processes, and aircraft modification requirements. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, installation instructions, and certification documentation. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical engineering solutions in a production environment. * Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across multiple departments. * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. * Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced aircraft completion environment while maintaining attention to detail and regulatory compliance. * Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. ## Description The Liaison Engineer serves as the primary engineering interface between Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management during aircraft completion and modification activities.
