Required Clearances/Certifications * Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission. * Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority preferred. * DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II, * Mainframe database development: 1 year (Preferred) ## Description Summit Technologies is in search of an experienced Software Data Warehouse (SDW) Lead Technical SME to lead a technical team in the sustainment and maintenance of the SDW. Serves the technical SME providing leadership and guidance for the SDW team responsible for the SDW application, the Oracle DB, SDW Data Extraction and Transformation process, and the MOCAS Data Sharing Initiative (MDSI). Oversees the day-to-day maintenance and support of the SDW application to ensure its continued functionality. This position monitors SDW performance and address issues proactively to minimize downtime. Manages bug fixes, patches, and updates to keep the application current and secure. Leads the resolution of incidents and service requests related to SDW. Diagnoses and troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution. Acts as the escalation point for unresolved issues and coordinate with other stakeholders as needed. Conduct regular health checks and audits of the SDW environment. Assists the JPMO in creating and maintaining appropriate SDW technical artifacts necessary for the sustainment effort. Acts as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding the application's sustainment activities. Communicates technical concepts and updates effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business units, to address SDW requirements. Ensures the application complies with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Implements security measures to protect SDW and its data from unauthorized access or threats. Stay updated on emerging security risks and best practices to safeguard SDW and the DCMA environment. Defines and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the application's sustainment activities. Provides regular reports to stakeholders on application performance, incidents, and sustainment progress. Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Provide training and mentorship to sustainment team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Ensure team members are familiar with the application's architecture, functionality, and sustainment processes. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team. Maintains disaster recovery plans for SDW to ensure data and system availability during emergencies. Test and validate recovery procedures to ensure readiness for unexpected events. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure business continuity in case of application disruptions. Identifies opportunities for application enhancements or modernization to meet evolving business needs. Provides technical expertise and recommendations for upgrades or integration with new technologies.
