## About the Role

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with end users.
Proficiency in German to collaborate with German-speaking teams and clients ( Language level C1-C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR))
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Minimum 2 years deskside or field support experience .
Strong working knowledge of MS Windows OS .
Working knowledge of MS Office and standard business software.
Good customer support orientation and professionalism.

Mobile device support

## Description

As a Deskside Support Technician (d/f/m) - Level 1, you will provide hands-on technical support to end users within a dynamic enterprise environment. You will deliver IMAC activities, break-fix services, device imaging, and support shop-floor operational hardware. This is a fully onsite role supporting a manufacturing environment in Kassel.

100% Onsite - Kassel, Germany

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Kassel, Hessen .
Key Responsibilities
End-User & Device Support
Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks.
Handle break-fix issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Provide onsite end-user support for hardware, software, and business applications.
Manufacturing Shop-Floor Support
Support handhelds, rugged devices, laptops, scanners, and other shop-floor technology.
Data Collection & Migration Support
Execute data collection and preservation activities for system migrations and eDiscovery .
System Setup & Configuration
Stage, build, and image end-user systems using standard corporate image (eCore).
Ensure proper configuration and handover to users.
