Education and Qualifications * A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience in a product development or R&D environment. Desirable Experience * Experience in life sciences, laboratory automation, or scientific instrumentation. * Familiarity with IEC 61010 safety requirements. * Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles and their application in product development environments. * Awareness of machinery safety legislation, such as the Machinery Directive / Machinery Regulation, and its impact on product design and testing. * Experience contributing to the development or improvement of formalised test practices within an R&D environment. * Exposure to automated liquid handling or sample management systems. ## Description We're looking for Test Engineer at SPT Labtech play a key role in shaping the next generation of laboratory automation technology. This role lets you work at the forefront of innovation and contribute directly to products that accelerate scientific discovery. In this hands-on role, you will gain exposure to the full product lifecycle, from early-stage prototyping through to final release, building a deep understanding of how complex systems come together. You'll work with advanced automation platforms, including liquid handling systems and sample management solutions, developing expertise in system-level testing across cutting-edge instruments.
