The role works collaboratively with internal staff to ensure efficient system performance, accurate data management, and timely resolution of technical issues related to the Financial Information System (FIS) management package (PowerSchool) for St. Clair County RESA customers., * Provide daily technical support to customers through telephone, email, and direct contact. * Prepare training materials, written procedural guides, and technical documentation. * Monitor database performance and assist with system updates, patches, and upgrades. * Develop, modify, and maintain custom reports * Create and maintain automated processes using tools such as PowerShell, SQL server jobs, or scripting languages * Support data integrations between FIS PowerSchool application and third-party systems * Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively * Conduct quality assurance testing and documentation for new applications, features, and functionalities. * Be self-motivated and willing to take on critical application-related tasks. * Assist customers in developing specialized reports and implementing reporting changes. * Make independent decisions and solve problems to contribute to the department's success, and provide backup assistance to peers as directed by the supervisor.
